10/31/2016 –  Press Release:  Groundbreaking for Miracle League Field at Wolcott Park The new field will provide central Mississippi’s first fully accessible  baseball field specifically designed for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities.

10/12/2015 –  The City of Ridgeland approved and signed a Letter of Understanding on October 6, 2015 that will allow the Miracle League of Central Mississippi to construct a Miracle League Field at Hite Wolcott Park.  The plan is to renovate a current baseball field that is in a quad with three other conventional fields. The goal is to open the field in 2017.

10/21/2015 – Joseph Voynik, Founder, was chosen as the 2015 recipient of the Mississippi Outstanding Youth Philanthropist of the Year Award for his work toward bringing a Miracle League field to our area. He was presented the award at the National Philanthropy Day Awards luncheon on October 21, 2015.
